I was interested in assigning this book because I think that the author's analysis of "the Revolution" lacks engagement and depth with the historiography of the Mexican Revolution. Her focus remains mostly on the PLM and Ricardo Flores Magón, as you've pointed out.

I think that history should have relevance to the present in order for it to be most meaningful. How might this work have done a better job of connecting the story of the PLM to the present, do you think?
