I know I've told you this before, but you are a great writer. I enjoyed reading your work on the lead up to the war and the circumstances of the peace. You've done a great job of not only telling the story, but making clear how you've read and interpreted the documents that helped you to tell the story (that's one of the more difficult aspects of historical writing, I think).

In my research and writing, I've found that I often spend a lot of time on context and background information. The problem with that type of approach is that I've often spent more time on context than on the question that I started with. I think you may have done that here--the question is whether or not the Peace paved the way for the rise of Nazism while most of the article focuses on a discussion of how the peace came about and why with less space devoted to how the specific terms of the peace set the stage for the rise of Nazism. I'm not meaning to say that you didn't address your question; you did, but you might have done so in more detail with less emphasis on the background of the war and more on the conditions in Germany that resulted from the Treaty of Versailles.

Overall, this is excellent work. It's been great to get to know you through your progress with Historical Thinking skills and approaches. I hope that you have a wonderful holiday break!
