I agree that we need to frame discussions about sites like Chaco in more than environmental terms. I think that's why the Humanities are so valuable. In order to be truly inclusive, we have to recognize the cultural, historical, and human impacts of proposals that seem, on their face, to be primarily about environmental or scientific issues.
