Great first, cursory look into Pueblo-Spanish (Franciscan) syncretism. I would love to read more about what you found regarding Spanish adoption/adaptation of Pueblo practices. Much of that took place in the area of medicine and healing practices. Also, Knaut's major argument about the Pueblo Revolt is that Franciscans were recognized syncretism as a means to the ultimate end of "true" conversion among Pueblo people, but that they were not willing to allow syncretic practices among the mestizo/a population of the next generation.

Thanks for your hard work in our class all semester long. I know that things have been difficult for a variety of reasons this year. It was nice to get to know you through your insights into Historical Study. I hope you have a wonderful holiday break!
