Good critique. This is one of the points that doesn't hold up so well for me in Bad Mexicans. Hernández seems to equate the Mexican Revolution with the PLM and the Magonista movement when, as we've learned, the Revolution encompassed so much more than that. I do think her arguments about the importance of understanding the Revolution in the U.S. still hold up, but her grasp of revolutionary history sometimes falls short due to her overemphasis on the PLM.
